I discovered a hidden gem where only the front desk staff spoke English, while I could hear the bustling kitchen preparing my meal. The quick service and affordable price for a plate of chicken, noodles, fried rice, and an egg roll left me satisfied despite the limited drink options.

I ordered from China Wok on advice from a friend. Let me start with the ordering, it went well, I was told 30-45 minute delivery time and paid with a card over the phone. I waited a hour before I called to inquire about our food. I was told it would be there in 2-3 minutes... I waited 20. I called back and said I was yet to receive my food. At this point I was about a hour and a half from time I placed the order. The lady on the phone told me to hold on.... I waited. She then proceeds to tell me that my food was delivered. Well, if that was the case, I wouldn't be calling to inquire about it. She then says that the delivery driver gave it to someone in a house down the street. Hmmm.... ok. So, we all make mistakes, I ask if they will be sending our meal out asap to us. She tells me to walk down the street and get the food from the house they took it to. Seriously?! I can't even express my revulsion of that whole idea. So, I say under no circumstances will I be walking down my street looking for my (probably half-eaten at this point) $50 meal. She says she is going to send a delivery driver back to the (random) house to pick up the food and bring it to us. Ummm... how about ABSOLUTELY NO FREAKING WAY. So, I ask for a refund. They said sure, right away. Well, I'm now 2 hours in.... my family is hungry.... my guests are hungry. I have to call them 5 more times to get them to actually give me a refund. So, I ordered from Tokyo Grill near Trinity. 20 minutes and we had wonderful food with great service. I will never, and I do mean never, go to this place or recommend this place. Honestly?! Who runs a business like this?! No, I think I will skip the food you want me to pay for that a stranger has been munching on down the street. Thanks, but no thanks.
