Grandon, our server, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu and offering great recommendations that made our meal enjoyable, especially the complimentary corn cakes and mac and cheese. While some dishes like the lobster fritters and mashed potatoes missed the mark, the steaks were well-prepared, and the intimate, old mansion setting with its lively atmosphere added to the experience, though it did come with a steep price typical of a Nashville steakhouse.

This was the first time I have ever been there but I can honestly say the only thing I ordered that had any flavor at all was the onions and peppers, which is really not what you think it may be. The menu said sauteed onions and peppers but as it turns it not only did you have onions and red peppers but you also had squash and zucchini in the mix, but wonderfully seasoned. As for the steak I ordered medium, turned out very well done. I can honestly say I seriously doubt I will ever be back. For what we paid for this meal we could have probably bought groceries for a family of 4 for a week. I will say we did have a wonderful host (Joe) he could not have made someone feel more welcome and a very good sense of humor!
