Been going to Payne's since 1960s, when Ms Payne was active in the store. Excellent ambience and ribs!!!!!!!!!!

I tried the jumbo BBQ pork sandwich plate and was impressed by the crispy toasted bun and generous portions that even allowed me to make extra sandwiches at home. The beans and slaw were flavorful, with the slaw offering a perfect balance of sweetness and tang that complemented the saucy, tender meat well. The friendly service and nostalgic atmosphere made the experience even better, and the smoked sausage and ribs were equally delicious.

I rarely eat BBQ pork sandwiches, but my sister convinced me to try Payne's BBQ. I ordered the jumbo BBQ sandwich plate and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious toasted bun and generous meat portion. The beans and slaw were fantastic, and the friendly customer service made for a great dining experience.

The BEST in Memphis!! I love it all but my absolute favorite is the BOLOGNA!! Best slaw and sauce!!
