I had given up on Shoney's several years ago. The location in Murfreesboro, TN just underwent a remodel. I gave it another try. The first two visits were fantastic. The third visit sucked. The fish dinner looked and tasted like it was reheated from the seafood buffet, the price of the salad bar added to your dinner increased from $2.99 to $5.99 in one week, the soda machine was broken, and the macaroni salad had enough mustard in it to choke a horse. The waiter was embarrassed, but was trying his best. I am done with Shoney's for the last time. Great location off of I-24. Bulldoze this place and put in something good.
