During a week staying with my parents, I found myself eating pan dulce almost every day because it was incredibly fresh and delicious-one day I even had four! The pumpkin empanada, cookies, and semita quickly became my favorites, and the moist, soft bolillo with cream cheese and jalapeño is unbeatable. I also loved how welcoming and helpful the staff were, and the smell of fresh bread when walking in at 6 a.m. made every visit special.

I found this hidden bakery that serves the most amazing pan dulce. During my recent visit, I couldn't resist trying their pumpkin empanada, cookies, and tasty semita - everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The bakery only accepts cash, but it's definitely worth the visit for the best pan dulce in town!
