Artie's is a cozy, family-run Mexican restaurant in Beeville that has its own unique charm and rules. Locals are accustomed to the quirks, like the extra charge for multiple baskets of chips, but out-of-towners might find it off-putting. Arrive before 7:40pm if you want to dine there, as they lock the doors promptly. The food is delicious and authentic, offering great value for your money in a laid-back, mom-and-pop atmosphere.
