We stopped by Bayou Bistro on a whim while driving to Galveston, and the food totally exceeded my expectations-everything from the blackened catfish to the soft shell crab Po' Boy was spot on, and the service, especially from our waitress Allie, was super attentive and friendly. The vibe is definitely local and laid-back, with plenty of lively conversation at the bar, and the pizzas, like the Lightweight and New Yorker, were seriously delicious; I'll be back next time I'm around for sure.

I had the Bistro Pasta, Spicy combination of grilled shrimp, fresh tomatoes, green peppers, onions and cilantro, over angel hair pasta, topped with parmesan cheese. And all I saw was green pepper s and onion and some overcooked Cilantro. The only spice that completely dominated the was a cross between thyme and cumin. The sauce was gritty too. Could not taste any cilantro, fresh tomatoes or parmesan. I did eat it but for 18$'s which I assume is tacked on $ for having it delivered was totally not worth it. And 9$ for a little piece of key lime pie ... Seriously ridiculous but I was craving a desert too.

Ordered catfish dinner (one blackened, the other lemon peppered)...both were tasty; veggies were fresh and even the sweet potato fries tasted so good; also loved the homemade coconut cream pie...my order was ready on the time they said it would be.

I LOVED IT FOOD WAS GREAT BUT THAT BROCCOLI WAS THA BOMB ITS TO DIE FOR.... 😍☺☺😍😍
