My girlfriends suggested a great little place to meet for lunch. I brought my 1 1/2 year old son with me to lunch. We were NOT well received. The waitress was pleasant but the other lady, who seemed to be the boss, glared at us the entire meal. As my child played with his cup and the toys I brought him, he made a little mess with a piece of bread. The lady came by and said very rudely-- "that is a glass table!!" and she snatched up the sugar box with rude comments as well. As we were leaving, the lady slammed down a stack of napkins on the table behind me (I was getting the baby out of the highchair) and very very very meanly stated "do you need some napkins for the floor". I don't think that was a question! I was in too much shock to respond. They were a few BREAD crumbs, they were not even sticky! He is 1 1/2, I think he did great at lunch. I did not let him "run wild"!
I would NOT NOT recommend you take a child of any age to this establishment---children should not be subjected to the rudeness and the bad example. So, tell your friends before they have to cry themselves home after a great lunch with friends.

I'm not one to eat out for breakfast as I typically leave many restaurants feeling unsatisfied and disappointed. Whether it be the lack of menu variety, mediocre food, bad coffee, or poor service, it's difficult for me to fully enjoy my breakfast experience. Café Cappuccino is a different story. Finally a restaurant that has perfected the breakfast experience!!

Café Cappuccino has an extensive menu that covers everything from the traditional menu items like Eggs Benedict and omelets to delicious breakfast burritos and banana nut french toast. Of course, my favorite item has to be their HUGE fluffy pancakes! Yummy!! The generous portion sizes and excellent preparation of all of their dishes make it well worth the moderate prices. The service is always prompt and the staff is very friendly!

Breakfast isn't complete without a good cup of coffee. However, if you're not exactly a "coffee drinker", Café Cappuccino has a wide range or cappuccino and latte flavors to appeal to anyone's taste buds. Not only do they have tons of flavors of their own, you can even create your own personal flavor. Why go to Starbucks?

This quaint little eatery certainly gets my vote for the best breakfast in Waco. I always leave satisfied, and I actually look forward to going out for breakfast! If you haven't tried it already, I'd encourage you to do so. You won't be disappointed.
