China Cafe - Tyler, TX
I have had dinner at this restaurant on numerous occasions, & in the past they have need great. However, the last several times I have had a meal at China Cafe, they have been TERRIBLE. The people who work there are usully always nice & take care of business. However, my last experience showed otherwise. As my party and I went to the buffet line, we noticed that over half of the food trays were empty or near empty. Taking into consideration a rush hour may have just occurred, we overlooked the issue. However, it took quite a while for the cafe to refill their trays. Then, once the trays were filled I took a bite of my "beef and broccoli" dish & the broccoli tasted spoiled. I lost my appetite for the night. As the night went on, a few of us went half of the dinner with empty drinks. Along with that, the waiter checked on us, but never brought us our ticket until after asking and waiting for him to return.
Perhaps it was just a bad night for China Cafe, Tyler, TX, but they most definitely lost a few customers. Our last several experiences have all been similar, & there are far better places to eat.

Way over priced to the quality of there food, also my 3 year old didn't eat at all not one bite and that the end of our dinner I gave him a ice cream cone and they tried to charge me for a entire plate of 4.50 for that small ice cream so I asked her what the change was for and she said its cause he ate the ice cream , comes down to it they ended up still charging a dollar for the cone. I thought that was pretty pathetic
