Whenever I visit China One in Taylor, I am always impressed by the friendly service and the freshness of the food. My go-to dish is the Shrimp and Broccoli with rice, and I usually order the large size to share with my husband, which leaves us with tasty leftovers for lunch. Even on days when the buffet is closed, I enjoy their combination lo mein, which comes in a huge portion packed with meat, making it a satisfying meal that I can't wait to enjoy again.

I don't understand who slams the food in this place. Go to the buffet after the rush and of course the food will be shriveled, and you'd be wise to order off the menu. But the food is, from my experience, the best Chinese in the area when it's fresh. My wife and I eat there a lot. I love their chicken wings. Ambiance indoors is dark and rather like a cave but it's family-run and friendly. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Coworker and I go every week. The hostess/owner is very nice and the food is always really good. If you show up before about 11:30 for lunch the buffet will be lightly stocked. Never had an issue with freshness nor quality. The only thing I've tried I didn't care for was the hot and sour soup. It was a little too thick for my taste.

This place is just nasty. I gave it a last chance and Every time it seems worse. Food so dried up, food containers empty and there's this old man just scratching those pans and putting whatever stats are left in the middle. When asked to brought food the cook was worse than leftovers left from a week ago and the fried biscuits were way undercooked when told the lady she just didn't care or apologize. There were a bunch of flies and the service just te worse ever!
