The food at City Cafe is just fantastic, especially the cakes - they're amazing! I had my wedding catered by them, and my guests couldn't stop raving about how good everything was. I've used City Cafe for catering multiple times now, and they never fail to impress with their delicious take-out casseroles. Absolutely excellent!

City Cafe & Bakery do an outstanding job for catering ! They went well above what we expected on our sons wedding and the Cake was also delicious! They also have baked goods and casseroles ready to take home from their store. The staff is very professional and friendly! Thanks for making their day special!

City Cafe & Bakery catered the Marine Banquet plated dinner for 550 guests. The food was amazing and so was the service provided. We all received our meal in less than 25 minutes! Thanks for working so hard to provide a successful banquet!

We had Susan fix Thanksgiving dinner for our family this year and the food was excellent....She made the wedding cake when our daughter got married 20 years ago and she is still the best chef in the Concho Valley....We had turkey, dressing , cranberry, potatoes and bread pudding....Everything was excellent and very reasonable....Thanks to Susan and her son for doing such a great job

My daughter was graduating from college in San Angelo, so I search and reviewed bakeries in the area, I thought I was picking the best, but I can not recommend them to anyone. I ordered the cake for the afternoon pick up time so it would be freshly baked that day, but when we picked it up it had been baked the day before put in the cooler, so it was very cold and heavy. The cake was a very heavy type cake, the guest felt it was not done. Most guest left the cake on their plates and no one would take home leftovers. The decorations were not professional, more home quality design. So I decided to call them since I paid over $50.00 for a round cake(10") and just let them know I was disappointed, they said bring back in, so I did and they tasted it, said it was fine and kept the uneaten half of the cake and did not offer a refund or partial refund. I would have been more than happy with a partial refund and an attitude of we are sorry we did not meet your expectations. But all I received was I will think about it and if I decide to do something I will do something the following week, so I waited to write my review. I can not recommend this bakery and I don't want other visitors to the area to have the experience I did. We had family come from all around Texas to share in the happy day, but the dessert after lunch did not help with the celebration. My father who never ever complains, has not stopped talking about this cake!
