Probably the best catfish salad I've ever had. I think it was called "Strawberry fields." Delicious! And my margarita was good too. But the real treat was meeting Felicia and Lexi, the waitpersons on staff. There was a large bus group just finishing their meal when I arrived and everyone of them seemed quite happy and grateful. Lexi had just moved to Vicksburg and touted how much she liked the experience so far. Felicia was a native of the town (I think) and was so full of joy and was so friendly, I was super impressed with her. She seemed to really love her job. I think you tell a lot about a town from the attitude of those living in it, and these 2 made me feel that my new found love of the town of Vicksburg was justified. I can't wait to go back soon (I live in Texas) and take a friend or my family to this restaurant. I'm pretty sure I'll have to order the Strawberry catfish salad again, but the menu looks fantastic and has so many options perhaps I'll try something new. I was delighted with the experience. I recommend!

Worse quality of service you can ever receive. My co-worker and I walked to the resturant from our office. She offered the Chef's salad and when she got it, it didn't have bacon on it as the menu suggests. When we asked the waitress about it, she informed us that they dont have bacon nor bacon bits and that it says it on the menu but they haven't had it, ever. We both shook our head in disbelief. Just when you think that's the worse that can happen, I ordered the Strawberry salad which comes with a piece of catfish, blu chees, pecans and spinach and a strawberry vineagrette dressing. So I asked if I could change the lettuce to have romaine lettuce and add tomatoes and have the balsamic vinegar as the dressing. She brings the salad to the table, it doesn't have pecans on it, the catfish is grilled as asked but it has parsley sprinkled all over it. Instead of complaining, I just scraped the parsley off and cut the fish up in the salad. My salad portion was way smaller than my co-workers salad, even though they are supposed to be the same size. I didn't complain about that either. So then she brings the check and there is a 4.00 charge on it. I ask what the charge is for and she says for the lettuce change and the tomatoes. So I asked her why she didn't tell me that it was a charge to change the salad or to add the tomatoes (which I can expect a dollar charge, but four dollars). She was so confused, poor thing. So I ask for the manager, he comes to the table and I ask him why the 4.00 charge and he says because I got extra lettuce and added tomatoes. I inform him that that was not the case and the waitress agrees. He then gets mad and says well if you dont want to pay the 4.00 then dont pay it. I was like well fine. He was like next time, dont change anything on my menu. My co-worker and I were both sitting there like, did he really just talk like this to a customer. So he leaves and I see the waitress getting upset and about to cry and I tell her it's not your fault that his menu doesn't reflect what he is selling, she then tells us this happened before and that it happened to her last week. At this point, she was in tears and upset because she has to go through this with customers all the time because the menu is either incorrect or the prices don't reflect what you actually ordered and the manager, who come to find out is actually the owner, is constantly rude to customers when they complain. I felt so bad for her that I left her a nice tip but I will never eat there again and I will make sure other's know this resturant has the worse ownership ever. If I could give it zero stars, I would but since I can't, it only gets one star!
