GILL'S CHICKEN LOST ME AS A CUSTOMER TODAY, 3/19/15. I ORDER THE FAMILY COMBO WITH COLESLAW, POTATOS & GRAVEY AND 6 LIVERS. THE TOTAL WAS AROUND $34. I ASKED FOR LEMON FOR MY LIVERS AND HONEY FOR MY BISCUTS AND THE GIRL AT THE WINDOW SAID THAT SHE WOULD HAVE TO CHARGE ME FOR THEM. SINCE WHEN? WE GET CHICKEN THERE AT LEAST FOUR TIMES A MONTH AND THEY NEVER CHARGED BEFORE. I MEAN, AFTER SPENDING $34 ON CHICKEN THEY CAN'T AFFORD SOME FREE LEMON & HONEY? WHEN I GOT HOME AND OPENED THE BAG, THEY HAD FORGOT THE COLESLAW. I LIVE 15 MILES FROM SNYDER, I AM NOT DRIVING 30 MILES ROUND TRIP FOR COLESLAW. ON TOP OF THAT THE CHICKEN WAS DRY AND OVER DONE. TIME TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I'm not a huge fan of the chicken, however they have great fried catfish and steak fingers. We regularly order these items and are always pleased. We don't dine in so I'm not sure about the restaurant, but a great take out.

This place has gotten alot better than it was, friendly staff and amazing chicken! Best chicken in town by far!

I have been a customer since 1983. This month will be my last visit to the store. I ordered #5 and got three thighs that looked like they had been cut in half. There was hardly more meat than one leg has on it. That type of serving is and insult to your customers. I don't know what the other half of the thigh was used for but I hope you made money on the other use because you lost me as a 30 year customer.
