The Chinese buffet in Wharton is a good option for a quick and affordable meal. The small selection of dishes is tasty, and the $10 price for dinner is reasonable. The staff is friendly, and the menu items are hot and fresh, although the buffet offerings may not always be as fresh towards the end of the day.

Grand Buffet - changes since CO-VID
Paper Plates - Maybe not as appealing, but is used as safety precaution / Co-Vid
Can Drinks vs Plastic/Glass Drinks - Again, a precaution.
Instead of a large amount of food in each buffet bin, they put less in AND ADD FRESH MORE OFTEN.
There are several restaurants, esp in Houston which have totally changed the way food is served. Even though I miss the way it was prior to Co-Vid, I DO understand and applaud their diligence. Please do not let this detour you from eating there!
