During a recent multi-family vacation over New Year's Eve, I stayed at a well-appointed resort that offered a woodsy ambiance upon arrival. The rooms were spacious enough for our needs, and the amenities provided a variety of activities for kids, although we only participated in a few during our four-day visit. The dining options were typical for a resort, with a mix of standard menu items and a buffet, and while the pricing was somewhat steep, the overall experience was enjoyable, particularly the relaxing spa facilities.
