I haven't been there in many years - but when I did go, summer 2001, to meet a friend who was vegetarian that happened to be driving through on his way to see his daughter, we were sorely disappointed. I had called ahead to inquire of menu items for vegetarians and was told they had many choices, and a great salad bar. When we arrived, we looked over the 'salad bar' which was quite sad at best, having bare minimum salad items like 'not very fresh' tomatoes, onions, and horrible 'iceberg' lettuce! (NO LIVING THING should ever eat that! It's even banned from agricultural feed in most countries) . The menu was also lacking in anything that wasn't 'greased up'! I was so embarrassed we just left! I had told my friend that they had a great vegetarian menu since that was what they had told me. So now, some years later I hope they've improved GREATLY. I'm going to give them another chance tonight. Mom & I are hungry for a home cooked meal. If this comment is here, you'll know they haven't improved. If they HAVE improved, I'll gladly write an updated comment. I'm a little wary, since they don't have menu posted or even a 'home page' to show their location. I this little town wasn't so 'short of quality eating establishments' I wouldn't dare try them again.....so we'll see, eh.
