Booking through OpenTable for our anniversary scored us two glasses of champagne waiting at the table-talk about a sweet start! The pancakes were a delicious hit, perfectly balanced in sweetness, while the shrimp and grits brought all the flavor and then some. Monday night steak frites with three courses and bottomless wine felt like a cozy home-cooked feast, complete with attentive service and a vibe that made me want to linger all evening.

In response to the previous review. You think the traffic is bad now. Just wait until the restaurants actually open. I live on Blanco St and Clarks has totally screwed up our street with traffic congestion from their patrons. They do have good food though.

The cement trucks, contractors, etc., have turned our sweet little Waterston into a mess!!! Two cars have been sideswiped just today by the trucks going to and from J.House. Broken side mirrors and dented cars. Is THAT what we have to expect from our "new" neighbors. Parking on the wrong side of the street, facing wrong way and blocking driveways.
