This restaurant brings back memories of the friendly atmosphere where everyone feels like family. I've been a regular for over 20 years, and the food never disappoints, especially the chicken fried steak and daily specials. The service is consistently warm, and even during busy times, it feels welcoming and homey, making it a place I always look forward to visiting.

Had my birthday dinner Saturday night here at Lil Tex. Food was great! Our waitress Starr, really made my night! This young woman made sure we had everything we needed. Honey, hope you get a huge raise!

We moved here 7 months ago, and was introduced to these folks over at Li'll Tex. If you like down home Texas southern cooking this is the place. There is just about every kind of southern dish here and including sweet potato pie which is fantastic. To the earlier reviewer, no this isn't Dos Brisas or a 5 star restaurant. But it is not dirty but heavily traveled as it is well used, as it stays busy 7 days a week non stop. I think that says a lot. Its not fancy, but the food is well above average, and the folks are down home friendly.

I would never go back to this place because it was so dirty. The walls were dirty at the booths and the chairs were real dirty and full of dried food. They need Gordon Ramseys help pronto. I think the only reason people go to it is because its close to home but I won't go back.YUCK, sorry just the truth
