This was my second visit to the restaurant, and once again, the experience was positive, especially enjoying the chicken enchiladas with tomatillo and poblano sauces, along with a substitution of charro beans for refried beans. The Chile relleno stood out as exceptional, perfectly balanced with ground beef, potatoes, and spices, something I haven't found elsewhere in Houston despite similar rice and beans available there. The staff, including Cynthia, Norma, and Vaquerito, were accommodating and attentive during a large family gathering, providing great hospitality and ensuring the food arrived hot and quickly, complemented by tasty cocktails like the cucumber margarita.

During my recent visit to this familiar establishment, I was transported back to cherished memories of Lisa and her son from years ago. Despite a few changes, such as the new chip policy, the warmth of the atmosphere and the exceptional Chile relleno with its perfect blend of flavors remained unchanged. The attentive staff, including Cynthia, made our gathering of nearly 30 guests a memorable and comforting experience, especially appreciated during a difficult time.
