Very good food and good service. Excellent play to eat.

Every time my son in law has business in town we take him to a new Tex-Mex Restaurant. Today it was Lupe Tortilla’s turn. Needless to say it will be our last. We eat out a lot so we understand about restaurants being understaffed and being patient because of it but when you find a piece of sharp, hard plastic in your food you would want the manager to handle it with concern and good judgement. What we got was quite the opposite. Instead of taking care of a customer, he proceeded to argue because my husband “never swallowed it!” We had looked the other way when our queso was brought cold and when our drinks came in super late, but to argue with a customer and say nothing happened because my husband never swallowed the piece of hard plastic is inexcusable. He took care of us by not charging my husband for his late arriving margarita. In any other restaurant, the least they would have done was taken my husband’s dinner out of the check and apologized for their mistake. At the end of the day, it’s not about the $ but the lack of customer service and rudeness exhibited by this young man. Good customer service includes attentiveness and respect especially when your customer could have been injured from your restaurant’s neglect. We have never experienced anything like this and hope no one else has to go through this either.

First time: The restaurant is extremely dark, the food is very mediocre especially for their insane Tex mex prices. We will not go back. Almost eighty, yes 80 dollars for two fajita lunches and queso with no alcohol.
