The Solo Platter has always been a favorite of mine, but I was disappointed with the recent change from fresh fish to surimi. Despite that, the atmosphere is modern and lively, especially with the live music on weekends, making it a fun dining experience. If you're in the area, their fried seafood and shrimp cocktail are must-tries, and the service is consistently friendly and efficient.

I used to adore the Solo Platter, with its perfectly cooked fish, until the day it was swapped out for Surimi. Surimi? Why this change, I wonder, for it has altered the essence of my beloved haunt in Laredo. Each visit home calls for a stop here, drawn by the allure of their delectable fried seafood platter and the irresistible Sherman cocktail. The recent revamp of the place has breathed new life into it, with lively music on weekends adding to the experience.
