While touring the nearby "painted churches," I discovered a fantastic BBQ joint where my wife and I enjoyed a half chicken and a pork sandwich, both perfectly smoked and incredibly tender. The atmosphere exudes small-town charm, and the homemade sausage is fresh and delicious, making it a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Texas BBQ.

Discovered this BBQ joint near the "painted churches" on a road trip. Tried the half chicken and pork sandwich, both perfectly smoked and tender. The place may look old but the Texas BBQ is the real deal, worth the stop.
