Papa Perez in downtown Bryan is a cozy spot with a warm atmosphere and delicious homestyle Mexican cuisine. The staff is friendly, and the green sauce adds an extra kick to the already flavorful dishes. The generous portions, reasonable prices, and excellent service make it a must-visit for those craving authentic Mexican flavors in a welcoming setting.

great food good people,I grew up in san antonio and have family in brownsville so i know mexican food. This food is more true mexican food than tex-mex so if you want tex-mex like taco cabana dont go to papa perez. If ya want good home cooked style mexican the i will see you there.

While Papa Perez is appealing from the outside, I can't say I am as impressed with the food. I have eaten there several times and the best I can say is "average" food. The Aggie Enchiladas were ok(chicken was dry)but I was unimpressed by the cheese they use. The best I can say about Papa's is they ahve good chips and salsa and the staff is very friendly.
