Growing up in Los Angeles, I have enjoyed this moist and flavorful fruitcake since the mid-1950s, appreciating how it maintains the rich, traditional taste that sets it apart from the typical dry holiday cakes. Although recent orders arrived with some disappointing slicing and slow shipping, the unique blend of spices, nuts, and dried fruit continues to bring back fond memories and keeps me coming back for more during the holidays.
