After picking up a box from a local eatery, I unknowingly consumed a dish containing shrimp, triggering a severe allergic reaction due to my shellfish allergy. The quick onset of symptoms thankfully occurred at home, sparing a potentially dangerous situation had I been on the road. I urge establishments to clearly label allergens in their packaging to prevent similar incidents for others in the future.
