The 3-piece dark chicken was juicy and delicious, and those funnel cake fries perfectly captured the taste without the sticky mess-though I wish the order was bigger! The kids couldn't get enough of the chicken strips, and while the food and lemonade hit the spot with speedy, friendly service, a heads-up: ask for napkins and utensils because they don't come automatically, which made our car ride a bit tricky.

The prompt service and delicious food made our visit enjoyable, especially the three-piece dark chicken and the tasty mashed potatoes. The kids loved the chicken strip platter and couldn't stop raving about it, while I wished we had ordered more of those amazing biscuits. Although the order sizes were a bit small and we had to request utensils, the drive from Cuero was well worth it for the fresh and flavorful chicken that can't be found anywhere else around here.
