The Carne Guisada at this restaurant is incredibly tender and perfectly spiced, complemented by a flavorful gravy and soft flour tortilla. Their chorizo & egg taco is a delicious choice, especially with their homemade tortillas that are always fresh and soft. I've tried tacos all over San Antonio, and I can confidently say that this place offers the best in terms of taste and quality.

ok so, 2 bad experiences with these restraunt. boyfriend received cold breakfast taco. when he went back to ask for a hot taco he received same taco reheated. today I went in with boyfriend. has order taken by girl . no problem there. then we are suddenly interrupted by someone that seemed like the manager in duty maybe. promptly told us that we were to wait outside for our food because of our "odor". he told us we smelled and we had to wait outside. he said we smelled like tobacco and then he told us to just sit down because there were cops in the store. I then informed the man that tobacco is not illegal. at this point my boyfriend told the man to give his money back and we walked out. its such a shame because they have good bean and cheese tacos but they're not good enough to be treated like an animal. if you're thinking about going to ruthies.... dont do it! go to taco rey!
