The steak and shrimp my husband ordered were good, while my chopped sirloin turned out to be an unbreaded Salisbury steak that the waitress neglected to mention, but the ambiance felt nostalgic, the drinks and oysters were enjoyable, and the service was attentive, making it a reliable choice for casual dining where the gumbo and seafood are consistently excellent.
