As I entered the gas station, I noticed the familiar scent of gasoline mixed with the aroma of fried chicken from the attached Grandy's. The restroom, while clean, had an outdated feel to it, but the convenience of having snacks and quick bites nearby made up for it. The friendly staff, easy access to the pumps, and overall cozy atmosphere made this pit stop a pleasant break during my road trip.
