Being from Oklahoma, Sonic is a staple in my life and I was pleasantly surprised when I found a Sonic mere feet from the waters of the Gulf Coast.

Pros:
- it was on the beach and the view was amazing.
- I ordered a medium Vanilla Coke and it actually tasted like a Vanilla Coke. Not all Vanilla Cokes are created equal.

Cons:
- the service was horrible. I first pulled into a stall pressed to big red button and waited while the screen read "we will be with you shortly". After a full 5 minutes I pressed the big red button and once again the screen read "we will be with you shortly". Looking around I noticed there were only 2 other cars in the stalls, but the drive through had several. Now that it was closing in on 10 minutes I decided to back up and try the drive through. Needless to say the drive through was not any faster and over all it took close to 25 minutes from start to finish to get a medium Vanilla Coke.

I would not go out of my way to visit this Sonic, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Unless you have plenty of time to wait, you may want to visit one of the many other restaurants on the island.
