Found a great bakery for ordering cakes for special events despite some mixed reviews. Ended up having a smooth experience after preordering an 8" cake based on a family recommendation, even though my email went unanswered and I had to call to place the order. The cake turned out delicious and pretty, and the variety of dessert choices was a hit. Lunch was a winner with a spinach salad loaded with bacon, a unique millionaire pie for dessert, and a tasty mini blueberry muffin. The chicken salad sandwich and potato soup were a hit, and the self-serve beverages and fresh fruit with berry yogurt sauce made the meal even more enjoyable. Despite initially feeling the prices were high, the delicious food, great service, and pleasant atmosphere made it all worth it.
