The food portions are generous and priced affordably. While the salsa packs a punch, the overall quality of the dishes is excellent. Situated near Lackland Air Force Base, the restaurant is adorned with Air Force memorabilia, adding to its charm. The flautas were a standout dish, and the friendly staff and authentic flavors make it a neighborhood gem worth revisiting.

I have been eating at this restaurant for a while now. They have the best Carne GUISADA. The waitstaff are great and always willing to go an extra mile to make my visit a GOOD ONE. I always see waitstaff taking orders outside when they get too busy. It's a plus for me, I go pick up lunch and they make sure to make to get those orders out as FAST AS POSSIBLE. I suggest caking it in if you're in a hurry. 645-9191.

NEVER EVER eat at "Taqueria El Charro De Jalisco" at 8388 Marbach Road! (210) 645-9191 Got home with 3 plates, two were the WRONG ORDER. Called the restaurant (and the first call made, lady hung up on me); called back, (same) lady on the other end insisted that I ordered the Carne Guisada plates when I actually ordered Picadillo plates. She actually argued with me over it, insisted I was wrong, then told me to bring back my plates if I wanted my money back, (not to correct my order nor compensate for having to drive back). I get there and ask to speak to the owner. Turns out THIS LADY that I originally got the order from AND spoke with on the phone *IS* THE OWNER! Bottom line, HORRIBLE customer service to the EXTREME!!!! This is the FIRST and LAST time we go to that restaurant!!!

I loved the food at this place. The wait-staff are great. They make the food just fresh in front of you. They have great hours. they open at 6am-10pm. I really suggest everyone to give it a try. Its a small place on a shopping center on Marbach rd in front of FAMSA furniture near the HEB.

The food is great, most of all its fresh.
They have great wait-staff. It seems to be a family restaurant. I found this place by accident but glad i did. Its a very small place so you will miss it.. i really recommend it..

great food and great service nice small place to go and have a quiet dinner.. lunch specials start from 4.99 and it includes tea..
great prices.
