Had to run an errand just outside San Antonio and swung by Tom's on the way back, and the service was something I wish I had back home. The burgers were huge, grilled fresh and hot, with perfectly coated onion rings that tasted like they were fried in fresh oil, plus the fried apple pie was exactly how I like it. The vibe is old-school and cozy, the portions are generous, and the friendly staff made the whole experience really enjoyable-I'll definitely be driving back for more.

I ran an errand outside of San Antonio and stopped by Tom's on my way back. The service was exceptional and the burgers were delicious, with perfectly coated onion rings and a tasty fried apple pie to top it off. The old-timey atmosphere and friendly staff make it a worthwhile stop, especially for a classic burger experience.

The food is good, but dang near everything on the menu is fried.... all fried all the time! You'll be hard pressed to eat a healthy meal here, but the burgers are tasty so that's what matters and the staff is very friendly.

Its freakin' awesome....real homemade burgers....the tea is perfect and their tuna sandwich is always fresh....eat there, try it, its great!
