Craving their soup, I gave Villa Del Mar another try and was thrilled by the complete turnaround from my last visit-the fish soup was loaded with fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned, and the service was attentive without me having to ask for anything. My grilled fish and shrimp were cooked just right, and even though prices have gone up, the generous portions and quality made it worth every penny; I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

I decided to give Villa Del Mar another shot because I was seriously craving their soup, and I'm so glad I did! The food and service this time around were like a whole new world compared to my last visit a couple of months ago - my soup was bursting with flavor and the fish and shrimp were grilled to perfection. The manager even got a compliment from me for the fantastic meal, and my waitperson was so attentive that I never had to ask for more tea or salsa - definitely worth the $23 lunch price tag!

I'm sure this would be a great place, if you have a small party. NOT THE PLACE TO GO IF YOU HAVE A LARGE GROUP!! We went for Sunday lunch, needed a table for 10 plus a high chair. The hostess told us it would be about 30min. An hour later after asking several times how much longer she kept telling us it would be a while, it would be a while. She THEN told us they only have two tables to seat large parties!! Why did she not mention this from the beginning?! We then told her we were willing to break our party up since there was a table for 8 becoming available. I also mentioned to her that we had 2 people in our party who where diabetic and NEEDED to eat ASAP. She said the manager was getting 1 large table for us. When I talked to the manager explaining the situation and letting him know we were WILLING to split our party up he was very nonchalant. Would not give me a reason why we couldn't be split up into two tables and finally walked away from me murmuring under his breath!
I WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN! Please don't suffer thru a useless waste of time!
