I work at the Bexar County Jail and my friend & I had just discovered this place called Virginia's Tex-Mex located on El Paso street. We went there for lunch a few times and then we were told that the place was going to close that same week. They did not give us enough time for it to sink it. Needless to say, we went on that same week before they closed. Their food was excellent. I expecially loved the Fidello Loco and the Puffy Tacos. I didn't get to try too many of their dishes before they closed. I wish they would find another location close by. I'm sure they will get all the customers from the Bexar County Jail there. Please, please, reconsider this area when searching for a new location.

We are so sad to hear this news. Virginia's has been our family's favorite Mexican restaurant for many years. The incredible staff has watched our children grow up and has become extended family. Thank you all for the many wonderful meals and memories.
