Left work early to enjoy the warm weather and ended up walking through Little Italy and Chinatown to grab a Bahn Mi from Bahn Mi Saigon on Grand Street. The line was out the door, but the wait was worth it for the perfectly toasted baguette, fresh veggies, and tender BBQ pork that hit just the right balance of sweet, spicy, and savory. The spot is super casual with friendly owners, mostly takeout, and great prices, making it my go-to for a quick, delicious Vietnamese sandwich in the city.
