The homemade strudel here is exceptional, with a flaky, light crust and perfectly balanced fillings like cherry, apple, and cream cheese. The owner, Mertie, is very personable and friendly, making each visit a pleasant experience. It's important to note that they operate on a cash-only basis and have limited quantities since everything is freshly made.

Love that place

Received as a hostess gift a box of nut kolacky. Very good very small that would indicate labor intense.
Next day had cheese strudel and apple strudel. The filling of cheese strudel was more like a filling for Boston creme pie. The apple filling was decent. The pastry was if many layers. Strudel quality layers. I would try again.

This is absolutely the best strudel in the world! I have been a customer for many, many years. Will never go anywhere else. The lady that runs the shop is the nicest person I have ever met. She works tirelessly to provide the ultimate experience for her customers with a perfect product. I have had people from out of state ask me to ship her strudels to them after they had a taste of her strudel that I gave them. She also sells poppyseed and nut rolls and kifli. Again a great treat. A wonderful lady with a superb treat for the tastebuds. DON'T PASS UP THE OPPORTUNITY TO TRY HER BAKED GOODS! You will never be disappointed!
