I visited the restaurant on a rainy day and tried the special, a grilled chicken breast with rice and cream of mushroom. The price was slightly higher than the usual sandwich but I found it worth it for the flavorful dish. The brandy bread pudding was delicious, although I ended up with a larger portion than I anticipated, leading to a sweet-induced daze for the rest of the day. The service was friendly, keeping my tea topped up as I enjoyed the music and studied after the meal. The Po Boys, Jambalaya, and BLT were all excellent, with fresh ingredients and authentic New Orleans bread.
