Today, I drove an hour to try a restaurant called Pollo Tipico, but I was disappointed with the over-salted food and poor quality for the price. On my way back, I discovered Pollo Cibao, which exceeded my expectations with a wide variety of authentic Latin flavors and generous portions at a reasonable price. Although the exterior may not be impressive and the staff has limited English, the fresh, delicious food and vibrant culture make it a worthwhile experience for anyone seeking Dominican cuisine.
