I used to work at Daniel's Dairy...I am not a disgruntled employee out to make a bad review of the business. I came oacross this listing and figured i would put the truth out there to people. This is no longer Micheals dairy and the child hood memories people have. It has nothing to do with micheal. First when you go into the shop it looks nice. Go behind the counter and you will see year old ice cream globs on the floor by the ice cream freezers. Take a look at Dan's hands. The man simply hasnt washed his hands before handling your food. The power goes out, all the ice cream melts. Dan gets the power back on and refreezes and sells the ruined ice cream. The fudge he sells is not homemade but in fact made form a fudge kit you can buy at any store and pay half the price. You can also buy it in mystic where you dont have to worry about Mice poop in it. Take a close look at the fudge you will see mice teeth marks. This is because he refuses to cover the fudge after making it and letting it sit over night uncovered in a store that has a serious mouse problem. I quit the day i walked in and threw away a whole batch of ruined fudge that was ridden with mouse droppings. He came in and yelled at me. He said that you could have just wiped the poop into the trash. His exact words. I handed him my apron and called the health department. I dont know if he is still open. Everytime i go to bank street the shop is always closed. And also please please dont work for him! Last year around tax time a girl came in *****ed because she never recieved her last paycheck or her w2. i gave her dans phone number and said to call him. Well dan freaked on me and said hes been "avoiding" her. Well this year i didnt recieve my w2 after several ignored phone calls and never a phone call back i called the IRS they asked me if i had my last pay stub and cause i am wonderful i still did. So Dan will be getting a big whopping fine form the IRS. Overall I give this restaurant a big huge thumbs down. Save yourself the misery and dont work there and dont eat there.
