We went to the Lakehouse with high expectations and left disappointed.
First of all, the parking was impossible and we ended up at the very far end of the lot. They say there are “designated spaces” for customers but they don’t try to enforce it.
We had Brett as server, and he was very pleasant during the brief times we saw him. But he was running all over serving multiple tables both inside and outside.
When we were waiting for drinks and I saw the table of four who came in after us being delivered theirs, I tried to get any server’s attention but was unsuccessful.
We were seated inside but at one point a high wind came up and all the outside diners grabbed their plates and rushed inside which added about ten minutes of chaos.
The drinks we ordered upon being seated hadn’t arrived 35 minutes later by the time the appetizer came, so my husband canceled his but I waited for mine, a can of cider which was delivered on the fly with no glass offered.
Our appetizer was the “corn dumplings” which sounded yummy but turned out to be four black balls resting in broth, so well done we could not cut them with a fork.
Our meals were tasty but we passed on dessert as we didn’t want to endure another long wait.
There were just too many obstacles to think it would be better a different day.

I performed live for them twice in a row and i have YET to receive payment. Its been almost 3 weeks. Ridiculous treatment of an artist.
