I always enjoy coming here for some authentic Mexican food-the Molcajete and enchiladas verdes are my favorites, and the portions are generous. The staff is super friendly and attentive, making sure my water glass never goes empty, and the atmosphere is lively but comfortable. It gets pretty busy, especially on weekends, but the service is quick and the food never disappoints.

I visited Logan, Utah from San Diego, California many years ago, to help my sister after the birth of her first child. The enchiladas verde were incredible! We still talk about how good the food was - it was one of the many highlights of the trip, and we ate there as often as we could while I was visiting. San Diego is known for excellent Mexican food, and I don't think I've ever had such wonderful Mexican food outside of San Diego. My sister told me that she and her husband visited El Toro Viejo last year, and the restaurant is updated and expanded, and even more popular than it was before!
