The Latin food here is consistently tasty with generous portions and friendly, quick service in a clean setting. Their pupusas are amazing-big, flavorful, and served with curtido and salsa that really complement the dish. While some items like the salsa and certain tacos could use a bit more flavor, overall the menu offers a great variety at reasonable prices that keeps me coming back.

Great spot for delicious Latin food that won't break the bank. The food is consistently tasty and the service is quick and friendly. The pupusas are a must-try, always made fresh to order with a generous side of chips and salsa.

The new management is horrible here. I have literally spent hundreds (maybe over 1,000) dollars at El Mexsal, but that was before the new management came. In addition, I've persuaded hundreds of dollars from family and friends to eat here as well. The food quality has rapidly deteriorated. Today the lights were off for 3/4 of the meal. They would come on for a couple minutes then off for 20 then on then off again. When I've been back the owner does not treat the patrons well. El Mexsal was in my top 2 favorite restaurants of all time, but after how I was treated I'll never return. I will also be telling my family and friends to never return too. We'll be finding a new lunch spot.
