When I stop by the store in Waggaman for my daily coffee fix, I always hope they have the breakfast blend I love, but sometimes they're out, which is a bit disappointing. Despite that, the friendly staff always greet me with a smile, except for one playful guy who jokes about charging me $5 for too much sugar in my coffee - but I'll just make it at home if he does! The fried chicken is a hit or miss, best enjoyed fresh during lunchtime for the perfect seasoning on crispy strips and tasty Po'boys, even though the bread could be better. The lady in the kitchen is amazing, especially with our indecisive family member, and those chicken livers are a must-try from a surprising gas station find!
