Is the hours as shown on Google or this app for the menue? Fri on Google says 5:30- 8 pm but it's not listed on this site!

I've eaten at Desi's lots throughout the years. The food is good for the most part. My complaints are: 1) On one occasion myself my husband and my daughter(6 @ the time) were dining in for lunch, my daughter is a picky eater so we got her something else to eat and brought it in. My husband gave her a bite of his carrot cake and then let her have the rest of it when he was finished with it which was just a small bite. Well at this point the owner came over and acted interested in my daughters hair, saying how "beautiful" it was, then she walked away. Once we got to the counter to cash out we had been charged for x2 nuggets and x1 dessert. Putting it all together that she was not in fact interested in anything other than seeing if my daughter was eating something off the buffet and then charging us for a whole dessert when it was literally 2 bites. Then today my husband, myself, daughter and son(11) went in to eat, but only the 3 of us were eating bc my daughter had her own food. I had x1 plate of food, my son had x1 plate of food that he didn't even finish and my husband had x2 plates and x2 desserts. When he paid it was over $40 for the 3 of us for lunch. I called after we left to find out what the prices are, the man informed me that the lunch buffet was $16 a person, and I asked how much were 11 yr olds and he said that's an adult buffet. I was disgusted and appalled at this. The food is definitely not $16 worthy, that's outrageous. I will not be returning.

By far the best place to eat Southern Cooking . Best food and desserts to die for.

Not only do they know who we are and what we drink, the staff will always treat us like family. The service is unmatched anywhere. The food is always hot and the taste of home cooked deliciousness.

Meats are usually pretty good, sides are usually overcooked, and deserts are usually GREAT.

They know my name, know what I like to drink and the staff is great and personable. There food is pretty good and always a good selection that's different each day. Great home town food and family run restaurant.
