I started coming to the doughnut chef as a kid with my brother and dad. Place is amazing. We would get four loaves of fresh baked bread. Eat two in the car and take two to my grandparents house. The cake doughnuts with sugar and cinnamon are my favorite. I will be turning 50 in about two months and I till this day do not make a trip to Pittsburgh or near there with out stopping. I have passed it into my kids. They also love â¤ï¸ it at the doughnut chef.

Outstanding donuts! Always freshly made, as are the exceptional breads and rolls. The brothers are very honest, dedicated people, having learned their craft from their parents. This shop has a long history, with a very loyal following, as well as many long distance travellers, seeking donuts the way they used to be made, years ago. Carl and Jim are friendly with everyone, and have excellent help, to keep the long lines moving.
Highly recommend this shop!
