Driving from Downey with Porto's by my side, I'm on a mission to buy their bolillos, which are simply the best I've ever tasted. These soft, dense, and flavorful rolls have been a staple since my childhood, and despite moving twenty minutes away, this remains the only place I trust for their unparalleled freshness and deliciousness. This local bakery offers a variety of Mexican favorites and some unique options, with everything baked fresh-just ask the friendly counter lady for the best time to catch the bread right out of the oven.
