Mountain Lakes Bagels serves up classic New York-style bagels that are perfectly sized with a great crust and just the right amount of doughiness-my bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel hit all the right notes, even if I wished it was a bit heftier. The joint is small with no seating, but their lightning-fast service and friendly staff make the quick grab-and-go totally worth it, especially when they surprise you with rare treats like the blueberry cobbler bagel. If you think you've tasted good bagels before, prepare to have your mind blown-these fluffy, bagely wonders are seriously the best in New Jersey, and I'm all in for the next round!
