I had an amusing experience at Connie's while visiting Erie; after paying for our treats, my husband accidentally dropped the Italian ice right in front of the register, and the staff just moved on to the next customer without offering a replacement. Despite that little mishap, the ice cream is exceptional, with generous scoops that often leave me too full to finish. The variety of flavors is impressive, and even though one employee seemed a bit off, the overall atmosphere and quality keep me coming back whenever I'm in town.
