My family and I visited a quaint diner in Fair Haven called The Wooden Soldier, and the cozy, nostalgic atmosphere immediately reminded me of my own hometown. Pat, the owner, warmly greeted us and served us an amazing breakfast-for-dinner that included thick, hearty pancakes and a delicious vegetable omelet with wheat toast. The food, service, and friendly ambiance made it a memorable experience, and I can't wait to return and try the chicken and biscuits next time.

The food is great.. but the service not so much. We walked in today at 1135, and was rudely told to sit anywhere but that no where was clean and they were closing soon anyway... if u do not want people coming in after 1130 simply change your hours.... I walked right out.... I love there food but will not deal with rude business owners or workers... very disappointed
